Just below the surface of our polite society, it is not really a surprise for many of us that there are doomsday -culties. A study from 2020 by Biomed Central Geriatrics Discovered that approximately 1.25% of people had persistent death wishes, and that was one of the people who had no underlying psychological disorders. Less than a quarter of even that group admitted that he was suicidal. That is many of the general population that would respond well to a group that tells them that it will all be over quickly without necessarily bringing in the stigma of suicide.
Some of them brought the eyes of the world to them for pure spectacle. Others had influence that the world included and lasted for generations, if not to this day. That is the astonishing, passive self -destructive spirit hidden in society.
