Scientifically speaking, coincidences are not that special, because we live in a world full of so many random events. They seem strange because our brains are connected to spot patterns to predict future results – both in space and time – even if those patterns do not really exist. As an example, in the early days, spotting the same figure on different trees in different locations can mean absolutely nothing, although it can also mean that a vicious predator follows you. Why would you take the opportunity according to our primitive but cautible brain?
However, that does not mean that all coincidences can be chalked to our early man’s brain that occurs.
